What is CBD Oil?

Have you heard the BUZZ about CBD and its many uses? We want to not only provide the highest-quality CBD products on the market but also to give you all the information we have so you are educated and knowledgeable. So, enjoy a little CBD 101 — if you’re craving more information, head to our blog for loads of CBD education on an array of topics.

CBD is a powerful plant extract that has been used for wellness for thousands of years. Our CBD is derived from a specific strain of the hemp plant, not to be confused with the marijuana plant. Hemp plants must have less than 0.3% THC, which means that hemp-derived CBD oil will not cause any psychoactive effects. At GRL Wellness, we also remove even the trace amounts of THC as an extra precaution.

CBD is one of many cannabinoids in hemp that has an array of effects on our body’s endocannabinoid system. We actually have receptors and compounds in our bodies that interact with the compounds that naturally occur in hemp. Many leading doctors, scientists and experts in the field believe that combining CBD with the many other naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids found in phytocannabinoid-rich hemp plants may offer a range of measurable health benefits never before seen in the pharmaceutical, food or dietary supplement industries.

Not all hemp is created equal, which means not all CBD is the same. At GRL Wellness, we believe that if you want to create the best products available, excellence must be a priority at every stage. With this as a guidepost, we can partner with the right people and companies to achieve a high standard of business.

What Is CBD Pain Cream?

CBD stands for cannabidiol, a compound naturally found in hemp and cannabis plants. Unlike THC, it is non-intoxicating, and it does not produce a high. Numerous studies indicate that CBD may support homeostasis, or balance in your body’s natural rhythms.

What Are The Benefits Of Using CBD?

Unfortunately, we are not allowed to tell you! We wish we could, not only because we are incredibly proud of our products, but also because we get emails from people all across the country telling us how CBD has made a difference in their lives. However, the US Food and Drug Administration currently prohibits all manufacturers of dietary supplements from making any claims about the ability of their products to treat specific health conditions. Health claims are only permitted where approved by the FDA and based on accepted clinical trials. Because CBD is relatively new to the market, the lengthy clinical trial period is still in process.

As a pharmacist-founded company, we know how important it is to comply with FDA rules, and we know that their oversight of the CBD market will only help to distinguish our high-quality products from other brands in the marketplace. Until the FDA approves clinical trials (and lets us shout about our products from the rooftops), we encourage our customers to look at the considerable information and many personal testimonials available online. Or join our thousands of loyal customers and just give CBD a try! Either way, we know you’ll be delighted by what you discover.

Is 300 Mg CBD Pain Cream Legal In My State?

All our CBD Creams and products are made with CBD extracted from the industrial hemp plant. This type of hemp has <0.0mg THC and does not alter the mind like other drugs. GRL Wellness is proud to offer CBD that complies with The 2014 Farm Bill.

Do I Need A Prescription Or Medical Card To Order 300 Mg CBD Pain Cream?

No! A medical card or prescription is not needed to place an order of 300 mg CBD Pain Cream.

Is There THC In Your 300 Mg CBD Pain Cream?

No, GRL Wellness’ CBD is extracted from industrial hemp plants, which by law can have no more than 0.3% THC. This is already not enough to produce a high. We then reduce the THC content in our products further, all the way down to <0.0mg to reassure our customers that our products are non-intoxicating.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HEMP & MARIJUANA?

Scientifically, industrial Hemp and Marijuana are the same plant, with a genus and species name of Cannabis Sativa L. They have a drastically different genetic profile though. Industrial Hemp is a strain of Cannabis sativa L, while marijuana can be Cannabis sativa, Cannabis indica, or Cannabis ruderalis. The major difference is how industrial hemp has been bred compared to a marijuana form of Cannabis sativa. Typically speaking, industrial hemp is very fibrous, with long strong stalks, and barely has any flowering buds, while a marijuana strain of Cannabis sativa will be smaller, bushier, and full of flowering buds. However, newer industrial hemp varieties in the USA are being bred to have more flowers and higher yields of cannabinoids and terpenes, such as our Kentucky hemp we’re now using!

99% of the time marijuana has a high amount of THC and only a very low amount of CBD. Hemp, on the other hand, naturally has a very high amount of CBD in most instances, and only a trace amount of THC. Fortunately, the cannabinoid profile of hemp is ideal for people looking for benefits from the plant without the ‘high.’

Hemp is used for making herbal supplements, food, fiber, rope, paper, bricks, oil, natural plastic, and so much more, whereas marijuana is usually used just recreationally, spiritually, and medicinally. The term cannabis oil can refer to either a marijuana or hemp derived oil, since marijuana and hemp are two different forms of cannabis.

In the USA the legal definition of “industrial hemp,” per Section 7606 of the Agricultural Appropriations Act of 2014, is “INDUSTRIAL HEMP — The term ‘‘industrial hemp’’ means the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.”

IS CBD OIL LEGAL?

There is no need for a prescription or card to purchase hemp CBD. It is a natural constituent of the high-CBD Hemp strains of the plant containing very low levels of THC. Having only trace amounts of THC, our hemp CBD oil is non-psychoactive and legal in all 50 states.

CBD Oil/Hemp Oil and other hemp products are considered to be food-based. CBD Oil/Hemp Oil is legal in most countries in the world as long is it contains low (or in some countries untraceable) concentrations of the molecule THC.

WHAT IS THE BEST METHOD OF USE?

For our dietary supplements (capsules and CBD oils), we can only recommend them for internal consumption. If you don’t like the flavor of the oil supplements, you can mix with something sweet like apple sauce or honey to cut through the flavor.  Oils are to be taken sublingually and held under your tongue for 60-90 seconds before being swallowed.

WILL I GET HIGH?

No. Our Hemp Extract products are all made from industrial hemp, which only has trace amounts of THC, so there is no psychoactive effect from taking our products.
